Do Bocce Skills Transfer to Similar Games Like Bowling, Darts, Shuffle Board?

It is a question my girlfriend asked me… if someones good at shuffle board will they be good at bocce ball? What about darts, or bowling, or any simiar game that you can play while drinking?

My answer is yes, as long they drink a lot. Anyone who drinks alot tends to be pretty good at these games because of all the practice drinking and gaming. Also if they are new, they are likely to be able to hang with the drinks and not get as drunk as the competition.

I also think that there is a general similarity in the games concentration. They all move at the players pace and anyone who can concentrate good enough will likely master all of them… but will they be able to beat the local drunks???

Yes its true. The bar with all the bocce ball is at Union Hall. Its in Brooklyn and its awesome.

I went there this weekend again with my girfrienld and saw some bands and drank some good beers. Didn’t get to play too much bocce ball because the courts were a bit full. There were a lot of people on the bocce ball courts drinkin beer and having a ball.
